Innovative Emergency Management, Inc. (“IEM”) is committed to protecting individual privacy. This Privacy Statement applies to the Puerto Rico Homeowner Assistance Program Web site operated by IEM (the “Site”) and governs data collection and usage. For purposes of this Privacy Statement, “you” or “your” means the individual accessing or using the Site, or the legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Site. This Privacy Statement does not apply to information collected by IEM offline or through any other means or by any third party, including through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from or on the Site. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Statement. The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of majority and IEM does not knowingly collect personal information from such individuals.
Collection
The Site collects personal information to determine your eligibility under the Puerto Rico Homeowner Assistance Program. Personal information may include, but is not limited to, your name, contact information, demographics, income, and assets. There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by the Site, including, but not limited to, your Internet Protocol address, Web browser, domain names, access times, and referring addresses. This information is used for the operation of the Site, to maintain quality of the services provided by the Site, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Site. This information is maintained by IEM and only provided to the Puerto Rico Housing Finance Authority (PRHFA). IEM encourages you to review the privacy statements of any Web sites you choose to link to from the Site. IEM is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the Site and other Web sites operated by IEM.
Use
The Site collects and uses your personal information to operate the Site and deliver services to you under the Puerto Rico Homeowner Assistance Program. Personal information is provided only to the PRHFA. IEM may also contact you through surveys to conduct research about your experiences with the Site. Your information may be used by the PRHFA to contact you regarding assistance programs and/or determine your eligibility for assistance. IEM does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. Your information will remain confidential and will only be shared with the PRHFA. IEM will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on IEM or the Site; protect and defend the rights or property of IEM; and act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public.

Unfortunately, no transmission of information is guaranteed to be completely secure and IEM cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted through the Site; therefore any transmission is at your own risk. IEM is not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. IEM will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was provided unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Changes
IEM reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement at IEM’s sole discretion and at any time. All changes are effective immediately when they are posted and apply to all access to and use of the Site thereafter. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of a revised Privacy Statement means that you accept and agree to the changes and acknowledge that they are binding on you.
